About This Course
Develop stronger English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening, building on the foundations of ESOL Entry 1. This course helps learners communicate more confidently in everyday situations and progress towards higher ESOL levels.
Program Details
Extends reading, writing and spoken English for learners progressing beyond the first ESOL stage.
No formal entry requirement — learners are placed at the level that matches their current English, usually following an initial assessment.

Entry Level Award in ESOL Skills for Life: Speaking and Listening — Entry 2
Entry Level Award in ESOL Skills for Life: Writing — Entry 2
Entry Level Certificate in ESOL Skills for Life — Entry 2 (combines all three skill areas)
Reading and Writing assessed through set tasks; Speaking and Listening through tutor-assessed spoken tasks.
