Partnerships & Community

Built with Watford.
Working for everyone in it.

Olymp Academy is a premium, local training provider based on Beechen Grove. We work alongside councils, employers and learners across Hertfordshire to turn good intentions into clear, well-supported routes into education, training and work.

why PARTNERSHIPS AND COMMUNITY MATTER

Three groups, one shared goal: real progress for local people.

A council needs a training partner it can trust with public funding and vulnerable learners. A business needs people who are genuinely work-ready. A learner just wants someone to believe in them and show them the way. We built our whole approach around holding all three at once — not as separate departments, but as one conversation.

Local Authorities Employers Learners
01 — Local Authorities

A delivery partner that treats your residents as neighbours, not numbers.

We're based here, registered here, and accountable to the same community you serve. That means safeguarding, reporting and outcomes you can stand behind — and a single point of contact who actually knows your patch.

A

Commissioned & compliant delivery

UKRLP registered and ICO registered, with Cyber Essentials certification and published safeguarding, anti-harassment and diversity & inclusion policies — so due diligence is quick, not a barrier.

B

Co-designed, not off-the-shelf

We build provision around your strategy — adult skills, NEET reduction, community learning or targeted cohorts — rather than asking you to fit a fixed course list.

C

Honest, readable reporting

Clear progress data on attendance, achievement and destinations, written for a committee report — not a spreadsheet you have to translate.

D

Flexible, local venues

Delivery in community settings as well as our Watford base, with daytime, evening and Saturday hours to reach residents who can't attend a 9-to-5 course.

E

Inclusive by design

Disability Confident and Mindful Employer principles run through how we teach and support learners — including those furthest from education or work.

F

One named contact

No call centre. A named lead who answers the phone, knows your programme, and can convene our team quickly when something needs solving.

Commissioning or exploring a partnership?

Let's have an early conversation before anything is finalised — we're happy to advise even at the scoping stage.

02 — Employers

Work-ready people, trained with your business in mind.

Recruitment is expensive when it doesn't work out. We build training and pipelines around the roles you actually need filled, so the people who reach you are prepared, motivated, and understand the job before day one.

A

Tailored to your team

From onboarding foundations to upskilling existing staff, we shape the content around your sector, your systems and your standards.

B

Fits around trading hours

Sessions run mornings, evenings and Saturdays, so training doesn't mean pulling people off the floor or out of the diary.

C

A genuine talent pipeline

Meet learners before they graduate through work placements, taster sessions and employer panels — so hiring feels like continuing a relationship, not starting cold.

D

Confidence in compliance

Cyber Essentials and ICO registration mean your data and your people's data are handled properly, every time.

E

Wellbeing-literate training

As a Mindful Employer–aligned and Disability Confident provider, we prepare people to thrive at work, not just pass an assessment.

F

Straightforward to start

One call gets you a plan, a price, and a realistic timeline — no lengthy procurement process for smaller partnerships.

Hiring, training, or both?

Tell us the roles you're struggling to fill and we'll come back with a practical way forward.

03 — Learners

Come as you are. Leave with a clear next step.

Whatever stage you're starting from, our job is to make the path forward obvious — into further study, an apprenticeship, or a job you're proud of. Small classes, real mentorship, and a team that remembers your name.

A

Courses with a destination

Every programme, including our Psychology pathway, is mapped to what comes next — further study, a placement, or employment — not just a certificate.

B

Support that notices you

Mindful Employer and Disability Confident values shape how we teach, so asking for help is expected, not awkward.

C

Hours that work for real life

Monday to Friday, 9am–7pm, Saturdays 9am–5pm, and online appointments on Sundays — because study has to fit around work, caring and everything else.

D

Straight answers, fast

Message us on WhatsApp or call, and a real person replies — not an automated queue.

E

Teachers who've done the job

Instructors with real academic and professional backgrounds, teaching in small enough groups that you're never just a number.

F

A base you can find

Unit 1, 10 Beechen Grove, right in Watford town centre — easy to reach, easy to visit before you commit.

Not sure where to start?

Come in, call, or send a message — we'll help you find the right course, no pressure.

How a Partnership Actually Starts

From first conversation to measurable outcomes.

The same four steps, whether you're a council commissioner, a hiring manager, or someone thinking about their first course.

01

Discover

We listen first — your targets, your constraints, your people — before suggesting anything.

02

Design

A plan built for your situation: timing, venue, content and support, agreed in plain English.

03

Deliver

Small groups, experienced tutors, and a named contact who's reachable throughout.

04

Demonstrate

Clear reporting on what changed — for a resident, an employee, or a learner's future.

A Note on Why We're Different

Premium doesn't mean distant.

Being a small, local academy is the point, not a limitation. It means the person who designs your programme is the person who answers when it needs adjusting.
