Diversity & Inclusion Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Our Commitment

Olymp Academy welcomes and celebrates people of every background. We believe that a diverse community — of students, athletes, coaches, and staff — makes us stronger, more creative, and more capable of helping every individual reach their full potential.

We are committed to building an environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and able to participate fully, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, socioeconomic background, or nationality.

01

Our Principles

  • Equal Opportunity — Admission, hiring, promotion, and program access are based solely on merit, skill, and potential — never on personal characteristics unrelated to performance
  • Respect for Individual Identity — We honour each person's identity, culture, and background, and expect the same respect from every member of our community
  • Inclusive Access — We actively work to remove barriers that could prevent talented individuals from accessing our programs, including financial, physical, or cultural barriers
  • Zero Tolerance for Discrimination — Discriminatory behaviour, language, or decision-making of any kind is not tolerated at Olymp Academy
02

In Practice

Admissions & Hiring

  • Selection criteria are transparent, consistent, and based on relevant ability and qualifications.
  • We actively encourage applications from underrepresented groups in sport and education.

Programs & Facilities

  • Our facilities and programs are designed to be accessible to individuals with disabilities wherever possible.
  • Scholarships and financial assistance programs help ensure talent — not background — determines opportunity.

Culture & Conduct

  • All staff and students are expected to treat one another with dignity and respect.
  • Discriminatory jokes, slurs, or exclusionary behaviour are treated as serious conduct violations.
  • Staff receive regular training on inclusive coaching, teaching, and communication practices.

Leadership & Representation

  • We aim for diverse representation across our coaching staff, faculty, and leadership team.
  • Feedback from students, parents, and staff on inclusion is actively sought and reviewed.
03

Reasonable Accommodations

Olymp Academy provides reasonable accommodations for students and staff with disabilities or specific needs, wherever feasible, to ensure equal participation in our programs and workplace.

04

Raising Concerns

Anyone who experiences or witnesses discrimination or exclusionary behaviour is encouraged to report it through the same confidential channels outlined in our Anti-Harassment & Safeguarding Policy. All concerns are handled promptly, fairly, and without retaliation.

05

Continuous Improvement

We recognize that building a truly inclusive environment is an ongoing effort. Olymp Academy regularly reviews its policies, programs, and culture — using feedback from our community — to identify gaps and improve.
