About This Course
Build a strong foundation in computer science, programming, digital technologies and mathematical skills. This Level 3 Diploma develops practical computing knowledge while preparing learners for higher-level study and future opportunities in IT and technology.
Program Details
Fulfils entry requirements for NCC's Level 4 Diploma in Computing (or Computing with Business Management), opening routes to degrees such as Software Engineering, Computer Science or Digital Media Technology, or roles like IT Helpdesk Professional or IT Support Technician.
Structure - units
Completed GCSE/IGCSE 'O' Levels (or equivalent), 4 subjects at grade 'C'/'4'+ including English and Maths (a Maths pre-assessment applies for lower scores). IELTS 5.5+ or a pass in NCC's free Higher English Placement Test where English is below grade 'C'/'4'. Ages 16–19 and adult learners.
Multiple assessment cycles per year; examination or assignment per unit.
Level 3 Diploma in Computing → Level 4 Diploma in Computing (equivalent to Year 1 of a UK bachelor's degree), or university progression worldwide.
